Sushi Lounge

NYC is a sushi haven, but let's face it, usually it's a little pricey. Although, nestled away in the east village is Sushi Lounge. Located on 134 St. Marks Place, Sushi Lounge is the hidden home of the best half price sushi. Now don't get mislead, this area is FULL of these cheap deals on Asian cuisine but this place is by far the freshest, best quality, and best tasting deal on the block! The Atmosphere is a little lacking, so ladies, it's not a date spot. But it is perfect for a quick solo meal. The menu is extensive but don't get crazy because the 50% off only applies to the rolls, sushi, and sashimi. Okay, so this is how it works, when you order $16.00 (or more) worth of sushi, rolls, or sashimi you will only pay half. For instance if you order $40.00 worth you'll only pay $20.00 that's a BARGAIN!! If and when you chose to dine at the Sushi Lounge, don't miss out on the fresh salmon roll, tuna roll, California roll, and yellow tail sushi. If you order this exact compilation of 19 pieces, it totals at $16.00 but don't forget! After the discount you'll only pay $8.00. now that's a deal! Enjoy.

Who said knitting wasn't fun?!

It's Friday night and if your like me, you just opened your wallet and found only a couple of bux and a piece of lint, um...EW! Nothing is worse then being stuck in on the weekend because your MAD BROKE! So, the question is how can you have a lot of fun with so little cash? Well I guess you have two options; sit around watching re-runs or lace up your converse, go listen to a live band, and maybe even crowd surf if your feeling a little crazy. Sounds to good to be true right? Nope! It all goes down at the Knitting Factory Concert House on 74 Leonard Street in Manhattan New York. It's the best place to listen to all kinds of bands and DJs for real cheap. Shows range anywhere from free (yes, FREE!) to about $20, come on that's a SWEET DEAL! Click on the website, pick out a show and go hear if you like it. HAVE FUN!

Quick Bite

OK, so lets talk Gray's Papaya, it's basically the best 24-hour hot dog joint in Manhattan. There's three very convenient locations at 539 Eighth Avenue, 402 Sixth Avenue, and 2090 Broadway on the West side of the city. If you love dirty water dogs from street vendors then you must experience a Grays hot dog because its way better. It costs a $1.25, with tax included, for a fresh cooked to perfection dog served in a soft warm bun. But wait, theres more to that bargain because that's not all! It costs nothing extra to pile it up high with sauerkraut, onions in sauce, and of course ketchup and mustard. When your hot dog binge is finally over and your feeling a little thirsty I highly recommend you to order any one of the amazing fruit drinks especially the non-alcoholic pina colada...yum! So, all and all if your in the market for a good old American hot dog that's quick and inexpensive then this is the place to hit up!
